Bridal Shower

Our Bridal shower was yesterday afternoon. It was a very nice party. Everyone seemed to have a really good time. My mom, sisters and I ran around like chicken's with out heads cut off trying to get it all pulled together at the end. I think I am going to have to be very, very organized for the wedding coming up..... but I suppose I will worry about that in a few days.

For the shower activity we all made scrapbook pages of pictures of sweetie and me. We ended up with almost 3 books full. They are very nice and I will enjoy looking at them as the years go by. If I ever get moved and settled in Indiana, I will try to post some of the pages.

I was very touched by the party and all the guests. We are very, very blessed with people who care very much for us. As I was finished opening all our gifts, I was trying to thank everyone and especially my mom, sisters, and sweetie's surrogate mom for all their hard work... but I started crying. It was kind of funny. I just could not do it. So I turned to Billy and told him to thank every one. I had half the room teary eyed. Oh well. I laughed and told them to bring lots of tissues to the wedding... I am a crier! =)

Now I think I will go online and see about ordering some wedding tissues to pass out. The ladies will get a kick out of that!
